Campsie View" is a warm and comfortable cottage with abundant heating to keep you warm even on a cold Winters day.
It is set back within our grounds and completely private with a high hedge ensuring privacy and security whilst being conveniently situated near the centre of the charming village of Drymen.

This is an ideal base to explore the beautiful area of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. It is also convenient to visit historic Stirling, Glasgow or Edinburgh.

"Campsie View" consists of two bedrooms, one modern shower room (linen and towels supplied), and an upstairs open plan living and dining area with a kitchen and wonderful views
The main large bedroom has one King size double bed. The
second quite small bedroom has a Queen size double bed
below a single bunk. Both bedrooms have their own sink
and the shower room is conveniently available directly across the well lit entrance corridor.

Drymen has all the sporting and leisure facilities you could wish for. There is a swimming pool and gym facilities at a hotel within 50 metres, plus bike hire on site, golf courses, horse riding, pubs, restaurants and all the water sports associated with Loch Lomond.

Late availability vacancies may exist for last minute bookings and we don't mind short notice although please be aware that if we are not at home then it means we will not have had a chance to pre warm the cottage as we normally do before guests arrive. All bookings are welcome.

Campsie View" is a unique converted dwelling. It's construction is very interesting and refreshing. The external walls are traditionally built, but all of the internal walls are made using interlocking log, as in a log chalet. The doors and windows are also of a very high quality Scandinavian build.The end result is a modern but warm and very healthy feel to the dwelling. Certainly those who have stayed there so far, have been very impressed with both the quality and value for money they have enjoyed. The heating system does have thermostatic control and the one visitor in twenty years who complained of being cold simply didn't increase the temperature or ask for help.

As mentioned in the introduction we are extremely fortunate to live in an area both blessed with outstanding scenery and local facilities second to none.

To secure the booking, a partial payment of 25% of the quote, is due within 1 day of guest confirmation of intention to book

Payment [plus a refundable damage deposit of £50.00] must be fully settled: 42 days prior to arrival, or if that date is already passed, then within 1 day of guest confirmation of intention to book.
Where you wish to alter your booking (ie. lodge or dates or holiday duration) we will do our best to accommodate your request. If we cannot meet your altered requirements and you wish to cancel your holiday then the following terms apply:-

Cancellation more than 56 days prior to arrival, we refund 75% of the total holiday cost. Cancellation between 28 & 55 days prior to arrival, we refund 50% of the total holiday cost. Cancellation less than 28 days prior to arrival, full charge applies

Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am
This a NO-SMOKING property
PETS ALLOWED STRICTLY BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT, £20 PER PET and not allowed up on the furnishings.
Total number of occupants will not exceed the quoted number unless agreed.
All trash and perishables must be disposed of and dishes washed before departure.

Please put bed linen in Black bin bag provided and towels/pillow cases in the labelled Blue/White pillow case provided

THE DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IF FOOD IS LEFT IN THE GRILL/OVEN, OR IF COOKING UTENSILS ARE LEFT UNCLEAN OR IF YOU HAVE VISITED WITH YOUR PET AND HAIR OR OTHER DEPOSITS ARE LEFTBEHIND. It is very unusual for us not to return the deposit but it is unfair on the cleaning staff to be asked to clear up an unreasonable mess.
